Grey Gardens Premiere on HBO

"Little Edie and her Mother, Big Edie Bouvier 1973. - Relatives of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy...who both (in some unconscious state) decided to become two recluse relative's of wealth and power of the time. After many people abandoned them, they stayed in that East Hampton beach house... with no up keep and little contact with the changing, debilitating world of rich and elite. Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lang provide an award winning soul to the character roles... This story took a little bit from me. It is also the last time that Deb, Thom and I spend three time together....

Gray Gardens Exclusive

...Well this sounds very interesting. I didn't know. I'm curious...they were both such eccentric's but later didn't mind living in squalor.. I invited Debbie to come and join us. She too is looking forward...

Deb's Night at The Manor

Debbie invited a small group of us to The Manor . A very kind thank you for being there when she needed us the most. I am wondering if she is doing this for other reasons. She's not getting any better and she is more in the hospital than she is at home lately. Thom on the other hand was just released from the hospital; He is very weak and he's lost a lot of weight... 2009 is not starting off good.

Wally Lamb Has A New Book Out! (10years later)

WHAT IT'S ABOUT:

When high school teacher Caelum Quirk and his wife, Maureen, move to Littleton, Colorado, they both get jobs at Columbine High School. In April 1999, while Caelum is away, Maureen finds herself in the library at Columbine, cowering in a cabinet and expecting to be killed. Miraculously, she survives. But when Caelum and Maureen flee to an illusion of safety on the Quirk family's Connecticut farm, they discover that the effects of chaos are not easily put right. While Maureen fights to regain her sanity, Caelum discovers five generations' worth of diaries, letters, and newspaper clippings in his family's house. As unimaginable secrets emerge, Caelum grapples with the past and struggles to fashion a future from the ashes of tragedy.

To Read excerpts from the book Hit yer Mouse HERE

I have been reading Wally Lamb's books for several years now, although he hasn't had many, His words are gripping and the scenario's he places his characters in keeps you on the edge of your seat. A good example of Wally Lamb is placing previous characters from his previous books into his current book. Dominick Birdsey - a main character in "I know This Much is True" is High School friends with Caelum Quirk in the latest novel, "The Hour I first Believed"

I loved the way he brings people to life - and then back to life once more...

P!nk + Funhouse = A SMASH!

...This new music Tuesday brought me my pre-ordered copy of P!nks new Album, FUNHOUSE.
It's different for her. I mean she's usually brassy, loud and crazy, like her self proclaimed Rock Star persona - the album is quite tame. There is a channeling of Carol King here we all may not be used to but her voice is superb and grabs at the many ballads she sings. There's various songs about breakups and heartaches - "Sober", "I Don't Believe You and "Please Don't Leave Me" but the one ballad I keep playing over and over is "Crystal Ball" - she sings: "cracks in the crystal ball, ...sometimes you think everything is wrapped up inside a diamond ring, love just needs a witness - and a little forgiveness and a hallow of patience and less sporadic pace and I'm learning to be brave in my beautiful mistakes..." above a campfire acoustic guitar. Good stuff PINKY! ...stuff, RaGa loves...
Go check it out everyone!
