Wikipedia is reporting the eleventh studio album by Madonna is anticipated to be released in February 2008 by Warner Brother Records. It will be the last studio album released under Madonna's contract with Warner Bros.
Clare? Any truth to this? What have you heard? The rough copy of "Candy Shop" is not sounding like a hit... she's struggling on the tune... Is she going back to the studio to lay down new stuff? Is Malawi getting in the way?
...Mmm well wikipedia is hardly known for it's accuracy! Anyway they got that rumour from Madonnatribe who said that Warner Italy had the album due for release in February, I am not so sure.
I do think the Malawi adoption inspector probably delayed things this year, and yes Candy Shop does sound a little 'rough' but then we have only heard the Pharrell tracks, nothing has leaked from the Justin/Timbaland ones - perhaps they are fab.
My only worries are if the album keeps getting delayed it may cause problems with a possible tour - I mean we know how she loves to do it May-September....
