4.2 earthquake strikes Palm Springs

ANZA (KABC) -- A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck approximately 27 miles south of Palm Springs at 8:55 p.m.
No injuries or damages have been reported. The earthquake was reportedly felt as far south as the Mexican border. A light earthquake occurred at 8:55:35 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, April 30, 2008.The magnitude 4.2 event occurred 22 km (14 miles) NNW of Borrego Springs, CA.The hypocentral depth is 11 km ( 7 miles).
