About My Mom
First off I want to thank everyone who asks, sends there love and prayers for my Mom who right now is receiving chemotherapy for cancer. For several months it's been chemo every two weeks, it's hard because different chemo reacts differently to some parts of the body, when there is a reaction of the current chemo she is on they place her on another type of chemo which again causes other side affects, so then it's off the old and on to a new chemo. Anyway, she has been making great strides with her cancer cell number dropping drastically, my Mom has suffered through a winter of depression, continuously tired, loss of feeling in her hands and weight loss. Mom was at therapy today but her leg was very swollen. After examination they determined a blood clot in her leg. The other leg is now swelling. I just found out that the chemotherapy causes this as well. She is refusing to be admitted to the hospital. Her chemotherapy doctor is now saying he will treat her personally. Funny thing is, her doctor told her just today the cancer cells are diminishing and only a few more sessions are needed. I hope this doesn't set her back...Spring is here, I want her to sit in her garden.
