A New Post - a Fresh Start

Where to begin, does it ever end? I start a new journey with him. Never a wasted year; as it's only gotten better. I continue holding on...it feels so good...

Christopher here with his sister Nicole and his Mom at Madelyn's second Birthday. He's so sweet. He is still a kid; he wants to play - wants to run with the other kids. I keep saying to myself, he's going to be fine, he doesn't know how enormous cancer is. He's a kid. My belief in thought makes me believe he will be alright. Everyone talks about the sadness involved with Thoms nephew; but forgive me, I don't see it this way - he's gonna beat this, he doesn't know the beast inside his body. I think it's harder when your an adult and you think of a negative outcome...

Chistopher's Fund Raiser June 14th 08

OVER $10,000. GRAND was raised. OVER FORTY Donated Gift Baskets arrived. Each basket, hand picked it's winner by none other than Christopher himself - See above picture holding the cup of raffle tickets. Restaurants donated gift certificates. There where Met's season tickets. Prepared food donated. Young adults in his town donated there time to serve the food. The Bartender that night donated his tips. People came together. Families that had not seen each other in years sat under one roof.

All for the little boy with cancer. Let's hope.
