R.I.P.

...James Gargiso... guy I Knew From My Childhood Neighborbood Passed at 37. He Was The Neighborhood D.J (when D.Jing was cool) He is (was) the inspiration to my "80's D.J's Playlist" - (on my iPod) Capricorn's " I Need Love" / Shannon's "Let the Music Play / Fun Fun's "Color My Love" - Shocked that his life was cut - this short. IT MAKES YOU QUESTION YOUR OWN MORTALITY. He Suffered an Anurisuim - Not Fair. Wishes, Prayers and Peace Go Out to His Family. I will not only remember him but always know his inspiration to the music I love so much...

So I Went Roller Skating...

...and really had a great time! The (kids) loved it and even though my older sister (who roller skated, like all of her childhood) was so afraid, it was me HER CHILDREN and Thom pulling her and her husband Dennis off the "Rink"... we really had a fun time, can't wait to go back!

Reunion?

So Dee, Here I am making this play list of 80's and 90's Rock Ballads (I have now re-named it "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" - which can also be called "Never Say Goodbye" or even "More Than Words") AND I REALIZE!... OMG! I never responded to Dee's email about a "potential" High School Reunion you are planning and emailed me on...I'm sorry I never responded, I read it at work and buried it in my jelly head. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY love to attend!!!
...With this "Memory Lane" I started walking down all these songs come to mind, all the photos and and and I'm like "what a perfect time to go back...WAY BACK...to when we were young and worthless...

This Evenings Downloads:
"When I'm With You" - Jimmy Haran (with Cynch) - STEVEN stop laughing...
"When I'm With You" - Sheriff
Eighteen to Life" - Skid Row
"I'll Be There For You - Bon Jovi

Remembering The Buick Regal...

When I Was Just a Kid...

...So my Mothers explanation as to why she let my hair grow so long for this pic at the tender age of four was recently questioned...Her answer swift, stern and insistent: "You were very sick the week I had the photographer "scheduled" to visit our home and was unable to get you to the barber for a trim... (I guess they did those kinda things back then - meanwhile we didn't have pots for pissing in - (that's another blog post I'll later digress) - over the years my family laughs at this shot, calling this one "Baby Mozart...humm, is this the reason why I'm so into music? I learn, you learn...

Imaginary Friend (Umm, I Think)

This is Gus, who is a stuffed animal I've had for umm, about thirty years now. GUS has been with me since I was five (given to me by my Uncle Frankie) ...and I must say Gus, looks pretty damn good for THIRTY! No, his stuffing IS NOT falling out of his ass, he HAS BOTH HIS BUTTON EYES in tack and he is still as lovable and cuddly as when he was first given to me. I don't care, I still love this bear - just look at that teddy bear face it is almost freakishly weird, like Gus is alive! Lately, I have been a little under the weather (a little suicidal - Tee Hee just kidding) and this bear has made me realize that all I need is his love. I'm very serious about this, this thirty year old stuffed animal makes me feel better when life gets to God Damn Rough! (Thumb sucking never hurt either!)
